Abstract:

Natural targets reflectance exhibits anisotropic properties of surface, which are angular dependent, including solar and viewing geometries. After atmospheric correction of remotely sensed images, multi-temporal bidirectional reflectance factor shows bidirectional effect and should be normalized to a standardized solar-viewing-target geometry. In this study, a normalization method for multitemporal satellite images is implemented and evaluated. The normalization efficiency is evaluated.
